Colleen Clemency Cordes' work focuses on behavioral health and integrated primary care. She is a licensed psychologist with experience in traditional medical settings. 

Her work in behavioral health includes sexual health and chronic pain. She has studied how providers can improve care for patients and the impact of disabilities on mental health.

Clemency Cordes is the assistant dean and a clinical professor of the school of College of Health Solutions.

She has experience at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital as well as the VA Hospital. She is currently on the board of directors for the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association.
