Yuji Zhao is an expert in electronics, photonics and electrical engineering. He is a professor at the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering. Zhao researches semiconductor devices for energy efficiency, power electronics, and quantum information. 

Throughout his research career, Zhao has written over 150 conference and journal publications.
