Megan Jehn’s research focuses on applying quantitative research methods and technological innovations to improve public health emergency preparedness.
One of her ongoing projects is the development of a series of novel public health tabletop exercises for state, local and federal public health agencies to evaluate community mitigation strategies for pandemic influenza and improve coordination of preparedness plans. Jehn's previous work has focused on chronic disease epidemiology (clinical trials of diabetes and childhood obesity prevention), as well as infectious disease epidemiology. She teaches courses in epidemiology, global health and quantitative research methods for the School of Human and Social Change.
