Joan McGregor’s research interests are focused on a number of questions in moral, legal and ethical philosophy.
McGregor's current research has been focused on issues of food, food justice, and food sustainability. One of her most recent projects, "Just Food," is a multi-year, transdisciplinary project designed to research moral and cultural questions related to modern food production and consumption. This work includes the consideration of the unintended consequences of the practices and technologies that we develop in our food systems.
